Performance Testing.

To validate the performance of Apec Black Brake Pads, we conducted tests on a BMW X3 application, comparing them to OE BMW parts in an Auto Motor Sport (AMS) test. The results demonstrated a significant increase in deceleration and a decrease in stopping distance with Apec Black Pads. We evaluated various key factors, including noise, pad life, and overall braking performance, and Apec Black outperformed OE brake pads in all aspects. Apec Black Brake Pads scored a perfect 10 on the Noise Index Test, indicating the highest level of noise reduction compared to OE. Additionally, Apec Black Brake Pads showed an expected pad life of 134.89%, surpassing the OE baseline of 100%. Furthermore, high-pressure performance tests on a BMW X5 showed that Apec Black Brake Pads exhibited less fade cycle and burnish wear compared to OE, ensuring better and more reliable braking in performance-intensive situations.
